2023 Generational Giving

The key aspect of the Community Foundation is that it allows the people of this community to help and serve others in a way we could not as individuals.

2022 Faith Through The Fire

Together, we kept our faith through the fire and mobilized with local agencies and community partners to respond quickly to the need. Because of the trusted connections the Foundation has with nonprofits, we saw a greater impact in the relief efforts.

2021 Perpetual Impact

We liken this growth to a well-nourished tree that grows and puts off fruit year after year. Look at the tree on the cover of this report. The trunk represents a person. The vast expanse of leaves and fruit represents the perpetual impact that person’s single gift can make year after year, for impact that lasts.

2019 A Thriving Abilene, Endowed Forever

The Community Foundation of Abilene empowers people to make a lasting charitable impact on our community. We connect donors to causes they care about, manage strategic investments to preserve our endowments, make grants that align with donor intent, respond to community needs and provide philanthropic leadership to enhance Abilene’s future, today.

2018 #Abilanthropy

noun | Ab-i-lan-thro-py: The act of doing good for others in the Abilene, Texas region, expressed especially by the generous donation of resources or time to benevolent causes.
