Let’s start with the basics.

I am from Des Moines, IA and have just recently returned after living in Texas for 3 years. I love to travel and experience the world from all its unique perspectives, photographing my journey along the way. So far I have been to 31 different states and have seen almost all of Ireland by train. I could be classified as an art supplies hoarder, but I prefer the term enthusiast instead. Creativity strikes me from anywhere & anything, and I find it’s always good to be prepared (i.e. I have way too many pens)! I love working in the sweet spot between chaos and order, and discovering the wonders some simple problem solving can achieve.

From February 2018 to May 2020 I was working at Zachry Associates, a marketing and advertising firm in Abilene, Tx. While there, I worked on brand identity, direct marketing, event design and way-finding, publication design, creative ad campaigns, and much more. Before that, I was a design intern for the University of Northern Iowa and worked on various internal and external marketing campaigns. While in school I was a founding member and lead designer for the student-led culture magazine Uprising, which has just released its 10th edition! But now I’m excited for where my design journey will lead me to next!

Bottom line, I love design and I love what good design can achieve.
