Artist Statement:

Nature is a never-ending cycle that repeats itself. It can be serene and isolating but full of life at the same time. A prairie exposes exactly what it is at all times, isolating itself with vast fields of space from its neighbors. Recalling memories of myself from childhood with my late father, this book speaks to the inner psyche of recalling what is real and what is imagined. Scenes that fade in and out of remembrance contingent upon their strength within my mind, where there is peace between the trials and rewards of life. It highlights the calming and serene experience of being completely immersed in the landscape, surrounded by acres of grass, and having wildlife interact around you.
