David Sweeney Memorial Golf Classic

The David Sweeney Memorial Golf Classic is an annual fundraiser established in 2021. The golf classic is held every third Friday in September at Pinnacle Country Club in Milan, IL. Hosted by the David Sweeney Memorial Foundation, this event raises money for Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC) Cancer research. ACC is a rare and aggressive cancer that strikes around 1,000 people per year in the United States. Proceeds raised from this event are donated to The University of Michigan Adrenal Cancer Program to support extended research efforts for ACC and other cancers.
